Confirmation Class
Confirmation is a hundreds-of-years-old rite of the Church which gives an individual the opportunity to stand before their congregation and
- publicly confess their faith in Jesus as their Savior, and
- commit their life to Him.
Confirmation Classes begin in Sunday School for 6th graders. In 7th and 8th grade, students meet with Pastor once a week for an hour and a half for intensive study of the Bible and the teachings of the Lutheran Church.
Confirmation Sunday is in April or May. After a person is confirmed they are considered adult members of the congregation.
